A BIG thank-you to The Redeemer PTFA for fundraising to help purchase indoor games for all our classes and for organising the upcoming Smartie Challenge!

 

Tonight, each child will be given a tube of Smarties to take home, eat and enjoy. After this, please keep the tube and use it to collect 20p pieces - they fit perfectly!

 

Keep the tube for a few weeks and return it to school by 23rd November.

 

The PTFA will then count the money and the class which raises the most will receive a prize of cupcakes (dietary requirements will be catered for) and an extra playtime.

 

We are really grateful for all your support to date, which has helped us make a massive difference to our children’s education. Recently we’ve been able to contribute to the Y6 Leavers’ party, and commit to purchasing books for the school Library, sets of class reading books, and a selection of indoor games - all thanks to the generosity of our families.

 

 

This week's 100% Attendance Award goes to Oscar in Y6, who was drawn in our raffle to win two tickets to watch Blackburn Rovers take on Rotherham United!

Well Done Oscar!

Each fortnight we will focus on a particular year group and enter those pupils who achieve 100% attendance into a raffle to win two tickets to watch Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

Pupils and staff from The Redeemer CE Primary School and parishioners from The Benefice of The Redeemer came together to collect food donations for Blackburn Foodbank and Nightsafe.

A special thank you to everyone for your generous donations these have been greatly received.
