A big thank you to everyone who helped with and purchased books from the travelling book fair it is greatly appreciated. The book fair was really successful reaching a total of over £600.  This in turn give us a great commission of new books for our school library, which I know the children are really enjoying.

 

As you will all be aware it is children in need on Friday 15^th November 2019. To celebrate and raise money for this amazing cause we have decided to hold a crazy sock and hair day. Children will wear school uniform with crazy socks and hair. We would suggest a donation of £1.00 for this.

 

We will also have tickets on sale from tomorrow for the chance to

win this giant Pudsey Bear. Tickets are priced at £1.00 each. 

 

In addition we will also be selling pin badges also at £1.00 these

will be available from next week.

 

You can buy tickets/pin badges from the school council who will be going to each class during the day for Infants and at break times for Juniors.

Thursday 17^th October P.T.F.A Disco Of Light

The infant disco will run from 3.30 – 5pm and the junior disco from 5– 6.30pm. The cost is £2.00 which includes crisps, a drink and a cake (dietary requirements will be catered for). Children are invited to wear bright party clothes (no fancy dress).  Payment can now be made via the Gateway app and please indicate on the app if your YR 5/6 child is allowed to walk home alone.  For the first time, the junior disco will have a tuck shop, please send no more than £2.00 with your child. 

Infant disco – at the end of the disco, please can parents proceed through the church entrance to collect their children and exit via the church side door.

Junior disco – children need to arrive via the school main entrance and at the end of the disco, parents will need to proceed through the school main entrance to collect their children from the hall and exit via the church entrance
