Uniform Information

School Uniform

Children in our school are proud to wear their purple and yellow uniform. When we go out into the community people often comment on how smart we look. We feel that this gives children a sense of belonging to the school and encourages them to be proud here.

The school uniform children are expected to wear is as follows:

Sweatshirt or cardigan – purple with our school logo

Skirt or pinafore – tailored, grey.

Trousers – tailored, grey, long or short.

Lemon polo shirt

Socks or tights – plain white or grey.

Shoes – black, flat, sensible.

In the summer, between Easter and October half term lemon check dresses may be worn

We also have black school bags with our logo on and we encourage all children to have these.

Please note that trainers and boots are not acceptable footwear; shoes must be flat with no heels please and untailored stretch trousers are not acceptable.

School uniform is available from Grays of Blackburn.

Non branded items can also be purchased from other local stores - ASDA, Matalan etc

It is very important that all children's clothing and possessions are clearly named.

PE Kits

Purple sports t-shirt – with school logo

Black sports shorts

Black elasticated pumps for inside

Purple kit bag – available from school.

Jewellery

Only stud earrings may be worn by children who have pierced ears.  No other types of jewellery; chain, bands, rings, etc. are allowed for health and safety reasons.

If you intend to have your child’s ears pierced, please could this be done at the start of the summer holiday to avoid disruption to their PE curriculum.

Hairstyles

Sensible hairstyles with long hair tied back, extreme or aggressive cuts and dyed hair are strongly discouraged.
