At the Redeemer, we are committed to providing our children with high quality teaching and learning. In order to achieve this, we focus on the important fundamentals of teaching and ask ourselves - not do we do this?-  but can we do these better?

To help us continue this development we use Rosenshine's principles as a benchmark for quality instruction and look to develop our use of the principles, when appropriate in lessons. 

We build our teaching and learning policies on evidence-informed methods, designed to have the maximum impact on pupil attainment as well as also reducing teacher workload. 

Our Core Redeemer Walkthrus

To maximise our teaching quality, we use the Walkthrus teaching programme. This allows us to hone and broaden our range of effective strategies to build up our Core Redeemer Walkthrus. 

Instructional Coaching

To build further on our schools teaching and learning we use the Instructional Coaching programme Walkthrus.

This helps us to build our teaching toolkit and focus on important strategies we teachers can use to develop our practice.
