We are really impressed with the standard of homework we have been receiving in Year 6; many Dojos have been handed out for this. The children understand that it is important preparation for secondary school and for reinforcing their learning. We will be continuing to send homework out on a Friday to be handed in by the following Friday. Writing tasks may be in preparation for work we will be completing in class so it is important that these are completed on time. Where applicable, homework will be marked together in class. Weekly Mathletics tasks will be set and monitored and it is expected that children are reading on a regular basis.

 

We are continuing to learn words from the Year 5/6 spelling list which can be found in the middle of the reading records.
