Tolerance Assembly
On Monday 27th January, we had an assembly on promoting tolerance. The assembly was delivered by Janet from School Safeguarding. She taught us that tolerance means to accept differences. It means showing respect for the race, religion, age, gender, opinions and ideologies of other people or groups. Janet was very impressed by our school and said this,
'Thank you for inviting me to school today. I just want to say that I thought the children were amazing, so well behaved and it has to be the nicest assembly that I have ever been to, the songs were inspirational - the children were a credit to the school and I thoroughly enjoyed spending some time with you.’
